During a commanding display, England secured another win against their opponents, with a number of players turning in standout performances throughout the game.
The goalkeeper Not a save to perform in the first half until forced to intervene from Arbër Hoxha’s curling effort. His sliding tackle against Qazim Laci showed excellent reading of the game. Six out of ten
Jarell Quansah Tested by Albania’s biggest threat in Hoxha. Started more centrally to begin with but moved to the flank once a teammate came on. Seven
The defender Moved into midfield with the ball at his feet, as he has done in the past. At times seemed hesitant on the ball with the tactic was shelved after the break. Six
The tall defender A nuisance on corners and free-kicks, typically, but may be another option for Stones in defense as opposed to his partner. A careless distribution later in the match nearly resulted in a goal for Albania. 6/10
The young full-back Another confident performance by the youngster following his first cap versus another side. A teammate did not capitalize on the opportunity from a gorgeous backheel behind their defense. The left-back spot looks secure so soon. 7
The newcomer A debut start in an England shirt. Slightly loose when playing out however his dangerous set-pieces caused problems. A handy game manager for the coach to utilize against sides that sit back. Cautioned for a poorly timed challenge. Six
The midfielder Deliveries from corners and set-plays were dangerous. Had room to move on the left yet found himself in an offside position upon receiving in front of goal. Granted a well-earned substitution around the 60-minute point. 6
Jude Bellingham Operated in a forward position out wide and also did plenty of dirty work. Showed moments of class and scuffed an attempt wide. Withdrawn in the closing stages by a teammate, his rival, after receiving a caution. 7
Jarrod Bowen Had the team's clearest opportunity in the opening period, his strike excellently kept out from Thomas Strakosha. As Quansah hanging back, he had to stretch the play out wide yet his deliveries into the box were hit and miss. Replaced with 15 to go. Six
The captain The decisive figure with his two more finishes for his country. His first a trademark poacher’s finish and his next a classy header following a clever run from his marker. At 32, he’s only getting better with the national team stand a real opportunity next summer with him leading the line. 8/10
The attacker Struggled to get into the game out wide. Had a decent opportunity after being played in by Bellingham but Strakosha made the save. His replacement produced a bigger effect when substituted. 5/10
